Letting someone come to your car should feel safe. Before a car care pro can accept bookings on LuxWash, they complete a set of onboarding checks. Here is what that involves.
What every pro completes
Identity verification. Each pro confirms who they are with a government photo ID and a live selfie that is matched to it, through a third-party identity verification service. This confirms the person on the profile is the person who shows up.
Background check. Each pro completes a background check as part of onboarding, which includes a manual review by our team alongside the identity and biometric verification above.
Liability insurance or the Damage Protection Program. Each pro is an independent professional who either carries their own commercial general liability insurance, naming LuxWash as an additional insured, or is enrolled in the LuxWash Damage Protection Program. The pro is responsible for their own work.
Reviews you can see
After every completed service, customers rate the pro and can leave a review. Ratings are shown on each pro's profile, so you can see how other customers experienced their work before you book.
If something goes wrong
If a service does not meet the standard, you can report it and our team reviews it directly. If your vehicle is damaged, see our damage protection article for how to report it and what happens next.
