1. Who we are

LuxWash is operated by 17119402 Canada Corporation, based in Quebec, Canada. LuxWash is an on-demand car care and detailing marketplace, currently in a pre-launch phase. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information you provide when you join our early-access waitlist at luxwash.co.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies only to personal information collected through the waitlist and application forms on this pre-launch site. No service is currently bookable through LuxWash, so this policy does not cover booking, payment, or in-service location data. Once LuxWash launches its marketplace, a separate, more detailed privacy policy covering the live platform will apply and will be presented to you at that time.

3. Information we collect

To join the waitlist, we collect your email address. Depending on which form you use, we may also ask for your first name and postal code if you join the customer waitlist, or your name, phone number, service area, and basic information about your business if you apply to join as a car care pro. We do not collect financial information, government identification, or precise location data through these forms.

4. Why we collect it

We use the information you provide to:

• Add you to the LuxWash waitlist and notify you when early access opens in your area.
• Understand overall demand for LuxWash, using de-identified, aggregate statistics only. We never share your personal information with partners or investors.
• Respond to you if you contact us, or review your application if you apply as a car care pro.
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your information for any purpose beyond those listed here without asking for your consent first.

5. Legal basis and consent

Under Quebec's Law 25, we collect and use your personal information on the basis of your informed consent, given when you submit the waitlist or application form. If you opt in to receive marketing or launch-update emails, that same consent also satisfies Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at privacy@luxwash.co, or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

6. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Who can access your information

Your information is accessible to LuxWash personnel who need it to manage the waitlist, and to the service providers we use to run this site:

• Airtable (Formagrid Inc.), where waitlist and application submissions are stored.
• Cloudflare, Inc., which processes form submissions and secures the site.
• Umami Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that measures aggregate site traffic without identifying individual visitors.

These providers may process data outside Quebec, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside Quebec, we take reasonable steps to ensure a level of protection consistent with Quebec law, including through contractual agreements where applicable.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information until one of the following happens: you withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it; LuxWash launches and your waitlist entry is migrated into the active platform under a new privacy policy; or we determine the information is no longer needed for the purposes described above. When information is deleted, it is securely destroyed.

9. Your rights

Under Quebec Law 25 and PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete your personal information.
• Withdraw consent to further collection or use of your information.
• File a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) at cai.gouv.qc.ca.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our privacy officer below. We respond within 30 days.

10. Cookies and tracking

This site uses basic cookies or similar technologies only where needed for form functionality. Our analytics provider, Umami, does not use cookies and does not collect or store information that identifies individual visitors. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking technologies on this site.

11. Children's privacy

LuxWash is not directed to individuals under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us at privacy@luxwash.co and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. Material changes will be communicated to waitlist members by email. The current version of this policy is always available on this page, with the effective date shown above.
