How you pay
Payments are processed through Stripe, a trusted payment provider. You add a card to your account and can save it for next time. When you book, your card is authorized (held) for the service price plus the platform fee, and you're charged after your car care pro completes the service. Nothing is charged before the service is done.
If you later cancel a booking, whether a refund applies depends on the timing, and a late cancellation may carry a fee. See our Cancellation and Refund policy for details.
The price you see
Each car care pro sets their own prices for the services they offer. When you book, the booking summary shows you three things clearly:
- The service price set by your chosen pro.
- The LuxWash platform fee.
- Your total.
You approve that total before anything is charged. No surprises after the fact.
The platform fee
The platform fee is a small fixed amount added to your booking. It is charged to you, the customer, and it is what keeps the platform running. During early access the platform fee is $0.99 per booking. The standard platform fee is $1.99 per booking. It is always shown on the booking summary before you confirm.
Tips
Tipping is optional. If you add a tip after your service, one hundred percent of it goes to your car care pro. LuxWash takes no cut of tips.
